Investment Opportunities Analyst

Confluencia is hiring a Jr. Investment Opportunities Analyst to help drive our deal sourcing and investment analysis. Working directly with our founders, you will identify and evaluate targets in Brazil's vertical-market software sector, co-leading the process from outreach to deal closing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential targets for investment
  • Manage and automate outreach efforts, including preparing communication materials, tracking outreach progress, and updating records
  • Engage with business owners and brokers to identify new investment opportunities
  • Support active deal flow by reviewing and analyzing potential targets
  • Evaluate business models, competitive positioning, and sectors/markets
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment analysis (PE/VC, Corporate Development), investment banking, management consulting, or strategic roles in startups
  • Undergraduate degree concluded between 2015-2018
  • Previous experience in tech/software is preferred
  • Genuine passion for technology, business, and investing
  • Strong analytical mindset and curiosity for emerging AI tools
  • Fluent Portuguese and Working-Proficiency in English
  • Builder's mindset: results-oriented, proactive, resourceful, comfortable in high-velocity environments
  • Humble, open to learn and to receive feedback
