Job Overview

The primary function of the Fuel Transportation Specialist is to transport fuel between airfields and the fuel farm using a tanker truck.

This role requires a high level of safety awareness, mechanical knowledge, and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tanker truck from the fuel farm to airfield and back.
  • Load or unload the truck with or without assistance.
  • Perform minor mechanical repairs and ensure the truck is in good working order.
  • Operate equipment such as tankers and load fuel from fuel bags.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Fuel Endorsements.
  • Valid U.S. Passport and Driver's License.
  • Pass Military's Flight Line Drivers course.
  • 40hr Hazzwopper cert. with minimum 6 months remaining validity.
  • Two years' experience as Fuels truck driver/operator commercial or military.
Skills
  • Comply with published Company work rules and Government Regulations.
  • Understand, read, write, and speak English.
