Fuel Laboratory Technician - Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fuel Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing fuel testing, receiving fuel deliveries, and maintaining daily and monthly fuel inventory.

  • Perform fuel testing using equipment and test kits.
  • Receive fuel deliveries via RBAF and complete delivery paperwork.
  • Maintain daily and monthly fuel inventory.
  • Inspect fuel lines, tanks, and observation wells for leaks or damage.
  • Assist with off-loading operations.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about fuels and have experience in operation of bulk fuel distribution systems and fuel barge operations.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years' practical experience in operation of bulk fuel distribution systems and fuel barge operations.
  • LNG unloading, storage, and distribution operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to loud noise in industrial areas.
  • Daily exposure to intense heat from direct sunlight.
  • Temperatures can reach up to 135 degrees in the summer.
  • Exposure to dust and fine sand particles in the air.
  • Exposure to flammable and ignitable chemicals such as JP-8 and Diesel.
