Credit Research Analyst for Emerging Markets

Lombard Odier is seeking a skilled Credit Research Analyst to join our team, specializing in Emerging Markets. As a key member of our Investment Solutions department, you will play a crucial role in providing sophisticated and customized investment proposals to our private clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth credit analysis of emerging market financials and corporates, assessing their creditworthiness and financial condition.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive research reports on issuers covered, providing recommendations on corporate Eurobonds based on fundamental credit assessment and relative value considerations.
- Collaborate with front desks, portfolio managers, and other analysts to enhance investment strategies and risk management practices.
- Present credit analyses and investment ideas to clients and internal stakeholders, responding to client inquiries regarding credit risk and investment opportunities in emerging markets.
- Master's degree in finance or business administration or equivalent.
- CFA or equivalent post-graduate education is a strong plus.
- 8+ years of experience covering Emerging Markets corporates in Credit Research (rating agencies, buy-side, sell-side, desk analyst) or Asset Management.
- Experience in Emerging Market Sovereigns would be a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, credit risk assessment, and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and financial software (e.g. Bloomberg).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English. German, French or another language would be an asset.
