Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports">
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions">
  • Reconcile key accounts, including bank statements, and ensure accuracy in financial records">
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures">
  • Maintain documentation and records for auditing and compliance purposes">
  • Work closely with the team to optimize accounting processes">
  • Assist in managing day-to-day client communications, responding to questions and information requests">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field">
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience">
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills">
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities">
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks">
  • Comfortable learning and navigating new systems and tools">
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and other key stakeholders">

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Full professional proficiency, both spoken and written">
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably with a US-based company">
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online">
  • Work experience at one of the big four US accounting firms">
  • Ability to create or improve processes">
  • Experience in Netsuite, and/or Ramp">
