Job Summary

This role serves as the financial lead for complex client engagements. You will leverage your experience to make strategic recommendations on funding, plan design and financial solutions.

  • Deliver complex concepts and financial results to drive client action and improve plan performance
  • Lead clients' financial engagements
  • Develop and deliver the financial strategy for a portfolio of clients
  • Drive revenue growth through client sales of actuarial and financial solutions
  • Provide quality reviews and delivery for all types of financial deliverables
  • Guide team members on deliverables based on client need; review models and presentations
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate and deliver complex financial concepts to clients
  • Manage and grow client relationships
  • Develop and implement financial strategies for clients
  • Drive revenue growth through client sales
  • Provide consulting quality reviews and delivery for all types of financial deliverables
  • Guide team members on deliverables based on client need
  • Collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience in delivering complex health and welfare financial strategies and analysis in a consulting environment
  • Proven ability to generate revenue
  • Track record of success in managing and growing client relationships
  • Deep understanding and expert knowledge in employee benefit plan design, underwriting and funding concepts
  • Ability to leverage judgement and past experiences to predict which methods will work
  • Multiple years of experience across one or multiple client segments
  • Executive presence with polished and well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
  • Actuarial designation and current continuing education (optional)
