Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our materials management team. As Materials Management Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials throughout our facility.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless material flows, develop and implement process improvements, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily material movements and ensuring timely delivery to production areas
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies
  • Collaborating with suppliers to resolve issues and improve relationships
  • Providing training and guidance to team members on material handling procedures

Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of driving process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in materials management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate team members
