This role will play a pivotal part in transforming how we evaluate and manage credit, contributing to the success of our customers and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing in-depth credit analysis and underwriting large retail credit lines for customers in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Peru.
  • Recommending and deciding on deals for Local, Latin America, and Executive Credit Committees.
  • Structuring credit requests in alignment with business and policy requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with central bank regulations and internal governance.
  • Partnering with commercial teams and senior management to deliver results.
  • Suggesting process improvements, ESG practices, and implementation of best-in-class governance.

We are seeking a skilled professional with:

  • Over 5 years of experience in credit underwriting, including financial statement analysis and ratio evaluation.
  • Expertise in corporate credit, financial products, and decision-making processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, including cash flow and industry analysis.
  • Advanced English (written and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience with captive banks and equipment finance.
  • Knowledge of ESG practices and governance frameworks.
  • Advanced Spanish proficiency.
