Job Function

As a Tax Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with tax regulations and laws. Your expertise in tax planning, audit, and controversy management will be essential in achieving this goal.

Our team is responsible for providing support to various areas of the organization, including Finance, Legal, and Operations. We work closely with these teams to ensure that all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize the company's tax liability while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Tax Audit: Conduct audits to identify potential tax risks and develop recommendations to mitigate these risks. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address any audit findings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Tax Controversy: Manage tax disputes with government agencies, including negotiations with tax authorities and representation in court proceedings. Provide support to internal stakeholders to resolve tax-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in tax planning, audit, and controversy management, preferably in an indirect tax environment.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including Brazilian federal, state, and municipal taxes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
