Job Title: Leading Personalization Expertise

Job Description

This role calls for an accomplished Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in large-scale personalization to spearhead the technical vision for personalization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying machine learning systems with a focus on personalization, showcasing expertise in building ML systems with deep knowledge of large-scale personalization.

  • Deep expertise in building ML systems with a strong foundation in large-scale personalization
  • Recognized industry authority through patents, publications, or significant product impact
  • Proven success in architecting ML platforms serving billions of predictions in production
  • Demonstrated track record of 0→1 innovation in personalization or recommender systems
  • Mastery across multiple ML domains including deep learning, causal inference, multi-armed bandits, and graph-based models

The successful candidate will define company-wide personalization strategy and architecture, drive alignment across all ML teams, and solve critical technical challenges such as cold start, real-time learning, and exploration/exploitation tradeoffs.

They will also design and implement advanced ML solutions using cutting-edge techniques, create and enforce ML architecture patterns, and lead multi-quarter, cross-functional initiatives that redefine how personalization impacts business KPIs.
