- Work closely with the Latin America Regional Director to develop a deep understanding of the regional context and identify opportunities for programme development.
- Represent Porticus in regional and global forums, building relationships with key stakeholders and promoting the organisation's work.
- Programme Design and Implementation
- Develop and implement programme strategies that drive systemic change and achieve high-impact outcomes.
- Work closely with programme partners to develop and implement effective programme designs, ensuring that they are aligned with Porticus' strategic objectives.
- Storytelling
- Develop and implement a communications strategy that showcases the impact and success of Porticus' programmes, both internally and externally.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and the media, to promote the organisation's work and build relationships.
- Building and Maintaining Relationships
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government officials.
- Work closely with the Latin America Regional Director to build and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organisations, and private sector partners.
- 8+ years of experience in Latin America social development and/or philanthropy, particularly in Criminal Justice.
- Strong networks and contacts in Latin America, with a deep understanding of the regional context.
- Experience of working with and through partners, with a strong commitment to partnership strategies.
- Ability to think and act on a strategic level, with a strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with fluency in Portuguese and English, and fluency in Spanish desired.
