Global Equities Trading Operations Specialist

The Trading Support team is responsible for providing functional support to customers across the multi-asset product range. This includes equities trading and risk management platforms offering high-speed access to global equities exchanges and execution venues.

This role involves working with a diverse group of individuals who possess strong technical, functional, and customer service skills. It is part of the Fidessa Global Service Desk based in São Paulo.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • The Trading Support team caters to the immediate needs of customers, resolving issues independently and liaising with specialist groups within the business and technology to ensure fast resolution.
  • Trading Support Analysts provide real-time phone, chat, and email support and conduct on-site customer visits to deliver product training and support for Fidessa users.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in equities trading operations, including basic knowledge of equity markets and understanding of equity business flows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrating ability to communicate succinctly and accurately to customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or engineering concentration (Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering) with business focus or Business-related degree with significant exposure to Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude.
  • Strong customer service ability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a trading environment.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required.

Desired Experience and Competencies:

  • Experience supporting Software as a Service platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial software platforms.
