This position is pivotal in our business unit's operating model. As a Client Underwriter, you will be the primary point of contact and decision maker for clients, entirely responsible for delivering exceptional underwriting, portfolio, and client management.
About the Position- Create a portfolio of clients and contracts that surpass market benchmarks.
- Combine world-class origination, client management, and underwriting excellence skills to drive success.
You will:
- Nurture and develop client relationships across various management levels.
- Identify opportunities within your client portfolio to grow core business and develop transactions and solutions with relevant specialists.
- Analyze products offered by competitors, anticipate future industry/economic/legal/market trends, and stay ahead of the curve.
- Perform comprehensive underwriting analyses for core business, including risk selection, simple costing, contract review, and structuring.
- Evaluate and assess treaties in accordance with company standards.
You will join a team of experienced professionals dedicated to capitalizing on market opportunities.
About You- A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance underwriting.
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or engineering (a key differentiator).
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is an asset).
- Ability to travel up to 25% within your allocated region.
