Job Overview:

Alcon is seeking a talented professional to drive the development and execution of Professional Education and Development (PED) strategies in LATAM Vision Care. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical/optical practice or industry, with strong interpersonal skills suitable for working in a multicultural/international environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute PED strategy for LATAM Vision Care based on region needs and business focus.
  • Support all CFH in executing their PED strategy in alignment with business opportunities.
  • Guide and ensure adoption of PED strategy in each market where there are market resources.
  • Execute & manage the Professional Education Faculty for markets in LATAM who do not have local PED resource.
  • Deliver education and technical support for Key Accounts as part of the category management team for account support.
  • Delivery of generic/on-label education materials to support strategic brands to be utilised across all channels, including use of the updated digital platform.

 

Requirements:
  • Based in Brazil
  • Minimum 7 years clinical/optical practice or industry experience
  • Experience in a clinical/practice environment (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills suitable for working in a multicultural/international environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MD Ophthalmologist
  • Undergraduate or master's degree in optometry can be acceptable
  • Business qualification (preferred not required)
