Job Opportunity: Technical Expert for Bridge Inspection

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our bridge inspection team in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of bridges and their components to ensure compliance with National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS)
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to communicate critical condition findings and recommendations
  • Manage and direct field teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Prepare and review inspection reports, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • At least 10 years of experience in bridge inspection, with a proven track record of managing complex projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training or certifications in advanced inspection techniques, such as fracture critical inspection or rope access
  • Experience with inspecting complex bridges and/or tunnels
  • Knowledge of industry-leading software and technologies for data collection and analysis
