Engineering Manager Role Overview

In response to upcoming project opportunities, we are seeking an accomplished Engineering Manager to join our organization. As an Engineering Manager, you will be embedded within our team where you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality engineering services while sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues to drive long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Engineering Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate engineering activities and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Determine optimal alignment strategies for complex projects in mountainous regions.
  • Promote efficiency and optimize design through value engineering processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend best practices for design analysis and implementation against project conditions and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance on vendor bid evaluations to minimize inefficiencies and ensure compliance with initial plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Building Information Modelling (BIM) standards and methodologies.
  • Support the selection of qualified vendors for specialty work packages.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through collaboration with clients to enhance and supplement procedures.
  • Develop effective communication strategies with clients to define design delivery approaches and assess quality, progress, and performance of engineering scopes.
  • Evaluate and provide guidance on the quality and performance of engineering teams and third-party design firms.
  • Implement a Lessons Learned Program to promote knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Maintain the production of Technical Risk Assessments to drive the implementation of safety practices and procedures.
