ERM is seeking a self-starting, dynamic an Environmental Due Diligence Consultant to join our Transaction Services technical team in Brazil (São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro or Salvador or Porto Alegre). In this role, you will provide high-quality analytical support on due diligence and sustainable finance projects for multi-national clients. Assignments will be documents review and field work.

In this role, you will provide technical assistance on Due Diligence transaction projects for multi-national clients, while working across ERM’s other line of services related to the Projects

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in environmental science/engineering, or related discipline or technical degree;
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience; consulting, finance, and EHS due diligence experience preferred. Preferable to have 2-5 years of direct consulting or industry experience involving: site investigation, risk assessment, or permitting. Graduate work can be substituted for direct experience.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and ideally have multiple sector experience, including private equity investment, O&G, manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, infrastructure.
- Ability to succeed in a **fast-paced consulting environment **, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed.
- **Demonstrated experience in both acquisition and vendor due diligence.**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong hands-on spreadsheet and database comprehension.
- An energetic, team-oriented, and positive attitude.
- Commitment to being responsive to our clients’ needs and meeting challenging transaction schedules.
- Passionate interest in working on M&A transactions with the leading service provider and a desire to develop a career as part of our global team.

- Experience in coordinating teams and work groups.
- **Working knowledge of English (C1) **is required, knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus (preferred French and/or Spanish);
- Good knowledge of local **Environmental and **EHS legislation **. The knowledge of the international EHS standards will be considered as plus.
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.

- Analytical ability, writing and spelling, excellent reading comprehension
