Within this organization, the International Well Data team processes and verifies information related to drilling and collaborates with other research groups (hydrocarbon fields, basins, contracts, etc.) to build and maintain a comprehensive and reliable global dataset related to the energy sector.

**About the Role**:
As a member of the International Well Data team, you will be responsible for the research, entry, maintenance, and quality control of well data within the international exploration and production database, with Latin America being the main region of responsibility. You will oversee the historical and current drilling data of several countries, with the possibility of making impactful changes in data completeness and consistency.

**Responsibilities and Impact**:

- Oversee current and historical drilling activities across several Latin America countries by organizing and supporting the effective data sourcing processes.
- Process raw data, extract and enter well information in the international exploration and production database, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct quality control of the data, focusing on its completeness and consistency, helping our customers, global industry leaders, to make informed decisions.

**Basic Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum BS in Geology or other relevant Earth Science.
- Strong understanding of petroleum geology and basic drilling procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with mapping software, preferably ArcGIS Pro.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

- Strong analytical skills for extracting technical attributes from raw data.
- Critical thinking towards data, with a willingness to verify information.

**Additional Preferred Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with data query and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, MS Power BI).
- Ability to analyze satellite imagery.
