Integrated Supply Chain Leader

The Integrated Supply Chain Leader will oversee the Latin America region, managing approximately 400 employees across four key clusters: North, South, Mexico, and Brazil. This leadership role is responsible for consolidating and optimizing the Plan and Deliver functions, ensuring alignment with regional business strategies and maintaining close partnerships with Commercial teams to ensure customer satisfaction and obsession. The role is pivotal in ensuring regional supply chain excellence in terms of service, cost, cash, compliance, and customer service while deploying global standards across the region and driving overall financial performance.
The position reports directly to the IVP LATAM Leader and collaborates closely with regional business teams to shape and execute end-to-end (E2E) supply chain strategies. The leader will also serve as a member of the MedTech LATAM Board and must be based in Latin America (Puerto Rico is included as an option).
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Planning: Translate regional business plans into clear supply chain performance requirements and operational plans. Set and drive the E2E strategy in collaboration with regional business teams to enhance performance across markets, ensuring close alignment with commercial priorities and customer satisfaction.
- Accountability for Outcomes: Ensure strong performance across the region’s supply chain in the areas of service, cost, cash, compliance, and customer service. Deploy and sustain global standards throughout the region to drive consistent results.
- Operational Oversight: Provide operational leadership for Plan, Deliver, and financial performance, overseeing market-based and business unit supply chain teams. Lead day-to-day operations with a focus on agile issue resolution, capability building, and customer-first strategies.
- Talent Development: Actively lead and develop supply chain talent across the region, ensuring a pipeline of future leaders and fostering an inclusive and high-performing team culture.
- Transformation Initiatives: Lead regional transformation initiatives, managing a portfolio of projects aimed at enhancing supply chain systems, capabilities and customer service operations. Ensure full compliance, build functional excellence, and drive the adoption of new systems and practices.
- Financial Leadership: Partner closely with finance teams to provide visibility into cost drivers, performance metrics, and financial shaping of the regional P&L and balance sheet.
Key Competencies:
- Integrated Supply Chain Management: Exhibit deep technical expertise in both Plan and Deliver functions to lead operations, resolve issues swiftly, and continuously improve supply chain capabilities.
- Interface Management: Foster effective communication and alignment across regional and global supply chain teams. Ensure that objectives are harmonized across business units (BU) and global functions to drive performance, with a focus on supporting the needs of commercial teams and customers.
- Transformation Leadership: Lead change by managing a cohesive set of initiatives aimed at building operational efficiency and strengthening foundational systems across the supply chain.
- Talent & Leadership Development: Build and develop talent across the region, ensuring a high-performing, engaged, and inclusive supply chain team.
- Financial Acumen: In collaboration with finance, proactively shape the financial performance of the region’s supply chain, providing insights into cost management and overall financial health.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale supply chain operations across multiple markets.
- Strong expertise in Plan and Deliver functions within a global or regional context.
- Demonstrated ability to drive supply chain transformation and enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong customer orientation, with a proven ability to partner closely with commercial teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in talent development and leading high-performing teams.
- Financial literacy with the ability to partner with finance teams to manage P&L and balance sheet responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders across regional and global levels.
- Must be based in Latin America (including Puerto Rico).
