**Role Description and Expectation**

Valued team member working in the advertising, design, and communications space with an emphasis on global health clients and brands. The **Assistente de Arte **is a member of our São Paulo-based art and design group and part of a global team (teammates in New York, California, London, and India). The São Paulo art and design group will be focused on creating original design work and executing established designs across a broad range of tactics for US and global brands primarily in the health space. This group will be connected to and working with teams primarily based in the United States. As an **Assistente de Arte**, your role is multifaceted. You will support the Diretor de Arte/Designer Senior and Diretor de Arte Pleno across a wide variety of projects including executing new pieces in established styles; contributing graphic design and art direction to projects; updating and incorporating change to digital, print, and sales tactics (among others); layout design; creating infographics and other data visualizations.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Support US- and global brands with incredible art direction, graphic design, and by helping brand teams execute a wide variety of tactics according to brand guidlines
- Work under the guidance of the Diretor de Arte/Designer and Diretor de Arte Pleno to meet brand and client needs
- Learn health industry design regulation and norms
- Work within established brand guidelines and health industry regulations to update existing pieces and create new ones based on provided manuscripts
- Design and format of PowerPoint presentations, create animations, create templates
- Design of illustrations, charts, infographics for educational and promotional purposes

Design and production of event materials, both digital and print, including signage, brochures, and web pages
- Design of new web pages and follow standards of HTML, that include images, logos, usability and accessibility
- Provide image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation
- Maintain production files, including fonts, images, logos and other artwork
- Update existing files and layouts to incorporate change
- Collaborate closely with art directors, designers, developers, copywriters, and other cross-functional team members

**Key Requirements**
- Must demonstrate extremely strong art direction and graphic design skills across a variety of mediums
- Must be able to demonstrate effective oral and written English communication skills
- Strong typographic and layout skills
- Design and organize information into coherent, high impact communications while adhering to established brand guidelines
- Skilled working in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Veeva, Power Point
- Knowledge of latest Web and graphic design trends and tools
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration sk
