As **Lead Sales Specialist 1 - Proposals**, you will lead the development and execution of complex commercial proposals and strategies across the Cordant product and software portfolio. You will drive cross-functional alignment, lead high-value proposals, and ensure commercial excellence in a global, matrixed environment. Your leadership will be key in expanding market presence, optimizing deal structures, and mentoring a high-performing team.

As **Lead Sales Specialist 1 - Proposals**, you will be responsible for:

- Oversee the development of complex proposals including technical and commercial models, ensuring alignment with customer needs and internal stakeholders; drive competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation and the management of global project across long periods.
- Understand the technical solution to be offered to the customer and how it will be presented.
- Handle standardized industrial products with pre-defined options.
- Contribute to predefined contracts and a framework of conditions and prices is set.
- Handles targeted clients and industrial sections
- Define and execute commercial strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to deliver tailored solutions and close strategic deals.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform pricing strategies and commercial positioning.
- Represent the commercial function in regional and global leadership forums, contributing to business planning and growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and external regulations across all commercial activities.
- Run a risk first assessment of a contract and bidding process, being able to identify finance, commercial and execution risks for the company.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (engineering, mechanical or similar)
- Communicate fluently in Portuguese and English is highly required and Spanish is a plus.
- Experience in commercial operations, sales strategy, or business development in the industrial, energy, or technology sectors.
- Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Demonstrate strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Possess a strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable commercial plans.
- Be highly analytical, with experience in pricing, contract negotiation, and financial modeling.
- Be comfortable managing ambiguity and driving results in a fast-paced, evolving market.
- Be willing to travel up to 20% of the time visiting customers and driving face to face negotiations.
