Join our Finance team as a **Tax Senior Manager** being responsible for Tax intelligence and fiscal receiving and help us building BIC’s future as a key contributor to the Horizon Strategy 2030. In your role you will report directly to the CFO and will be part of the BRAR Finance Management Team and the BIC Manaus Management Team, working very close to the Plant Managers in Manaus as well as the Commercial CEO to reinforce the Finance team ability to “help selling”, anticipating any perspective on the tax environment for Brazil and Argentina, two of the most complex tax systems in the world. Your curiosity is also essential to generate a continuous tax efficiency plan to support BIC’s future profitability and value generation. You will find a well-structured and experienced team of 7 people Manaus, 2 in Sao Paulo and 1 functional report in Argentina and a very open to change environment which allows you to bring ideas and execute it. You will also partner with a well structure bench of legal/tax offices with deep knowledge of the Free Trade Zone rules where our Plant is installed. **What You’ll Do**: - Analysis of tax impacts in relation to the company's business strategies, evaluating opportunities, risks and making safe recommendations (tax studies). - Ensure that taxes will be paid within legal deadlines after accounting reconciliation. - Ensure that accessory obligations will be prepared according to the tax rules and delivered within the legal deadline. - Ensure implementation of changes in tax legislation through the daily study of the standards applied to the BIC business. - Identify opportunities for tax efficiency, evaluating investments of projects that guarantee financial gains with impact on P&L or Cash Flow. - Ensure compliance with demands for inspections and audits, providing all necessary clarifications. - Represent BIC with governmental and non-governmental bodies to address the company's interests in tax matters. - Ensure that the tax incentives of the incentive zone are maintained. - Build and guarantee the execution of a strong Tax efficiency plan - Anticipate to the company local management teams all the possible legislation changes and the action plan to comply with it. - Build the relation with the Global Tax team. - Manage and guarantee the fiscal receiving routine. - Work close with the Legal Team, Supply Chain Team and Commercial teams to support them to any tax interpretation and necessary change acting ahead of the market needs. **Projects You’ll Work On**: - Have an “always on” Tax Efficiency pipeline and execution with proper communication to the Group and Local Management team. - Improve Fiscal Receiving process, especially in Argentina. - Seek for automations and a better internal communication from Tax department to the other areas in the company. **Qualifications**: - Graduation in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Law. - Post-graduation in Tax Law and Tax Legislation (Desired). - English - Advanced. - Implement changes in legislation. - Ability to identify tax efficiency opportunities. - Extensive knowledge of the legislation and operations of the Manaus Free Zone - Incentivized Industry. - Good network of relationship with area peers and public administration bodies. - Ability to anticipate risks and define action plans. - Team management experience. - Brazil Fiscal Indicators experience; - Availability preferably to be allocated in Manaus/AM.
