About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to oversee accounting and financial operations across our restaurant group.This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing strong controls, and supporting decision-making with timely analysis.You will work closely with the leadership team to manage budgets, streamline processes, and provide insights that improve profitability.This is a hands-on position where you will both manage the numbers day-to-day and help design the systems that will carry the company forward.Main Responsibilities:Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to support company growth.Ensure compliance with tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements.Implement and improve accounting systems, policies, and procedures.Partner with operations leadership to track restaurant performance and profitability.Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to guide business decisions.Requirements:Careful attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.A proactive mindset able to spot issues early and propose solutions.Clear communication skills, both written and spoken.Strong knowledge of accounting systems, including QuickBooks and NetSuite.Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling and reporting.Collaborative approach to working with operations and leadership teams.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Valid registration with the Conselho Regional de Contabilidade (CRC) in Brazil.At least 5-7 years of professional experience in accounting/finance, ideally including restaurant, hospitality, or retail sector experience.Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.Experience with U.S. GAAP or IFRS reporting standards.Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling and reporting.Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
