Health, Safety, and Environment Analyst

**Job Purpose**:
As a Health, Safety, and Environment Analyst you will ensure that the health and safety conditions, defined by law and by MacDermid Performance Solutions, are applied to Alpha Assembly Solutions Brazil Soldas employees and third parties working at the company, during their activities at Alpha Assembly Solutions Brazil Soldas

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with Process Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure the minimization of significant environmental impact and/or imminent risk to employees in Alpha Assembly Solutions Brasil Soldas operations
- Write and review operational procedures relating to Health and Safety
- Work on 6 Sigma projects to improve safety conditions and/or reduce Environmental Impacts
- Coordinate the Emergency Brigade
- Coordinate and support HSE activities, such as SIPATMA
- Ensure the addressing of actions relating to the maintenance of the AVCB (Fire Department Inspection Report)
- Ensure that all Brazilian labor regulation laws (NR) are applied
- Record accidents and incidents using the FRAI and SFMEA forms; lead the team in taking the corresponding corrective actions
- Monitor equipment and building maintenance services to ensure employee safety. Require that the PT (Work Permit) be completed when necessary
- Ensure that all employees, including third parties, have adequate and demonstrated HSE training, in accordance with the activity carried out
- Identify meters that impact Health, Safety and the Environment, keep them calibrated and updated in the calibration database (with support from the Quality Analyst - Systems)
- Lead HSE training and emergency simulation programs

**Responsibilities**:

- Enforce HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) routines, guide the Alpha Assembly Solutions Brasil Soldas team in good practices, aiming to consolidate a Culture focused on Health and Safety
- Ensure that Alpha Assembly Solutions Brasil Soldas complies with MacDermid Performance Solutions' global requirements and applicable legislation (NRs from the Ministry of Labor, Fire Department requirements)
- Ensure that the HSE Policy and Objectives are disclosed and carried out by the team
- Investigate the causes of Accidents and Incidents, report appropriately to Senior Management and act actively in resolving actions to eliminate potential causes of accidents
- Seek resources from the organization to eliminate, or at least mitigate, occupational risks.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Experience in the area of Health, Safety and Environment.
- English - Mandatory Ability (2) for reading, writing and speaking.
- Have knowledge of the Applicable Labor Legislation, with special emphasis on the Regulatory Standards of the Ministry of Labor (NRs).

**Education**:

- MBA in Industrial Engineering
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
