**Finance and Operations Associate**

Palladium seeks a Finance and Operations, Associate. The main role will be to ensure organizational effectiveness by providing support on the management in financial & operational functions.

This is a full-time position for 12 months and will be based in São Paulo, Brazil.
The Finance and Operations, Associate will report to and support the Finance and Operations Manager.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide financial and administrative support.
- Ensure financial records are accurately maintained.
- Process accounts payable invoices and payment approval.
- Prepare accounts receivable invoices.
- Ensure all finances are managed in alignment with the government regulations, company and client’s financial policies and procedures.
- Support the Manager to prepare, review budgets, monthly financial reports and expenditure forecasts.
- Ensure applicable tax withholding and deductions are taken care of as per the Brazilian laws and regulations on all payments.
- Work closely with the accounting service provider to ensure accurate financial report.
- When applicable, assist with an internal or external audit activity.
- Provide support on the administrative management, subcontractor´s contracting, procurement, logistics and safe and security aspects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree (minimum), or a Master’s Degree (desirable), in Accounting, Business Management, Economic, or other relevant field;
- Work experience in broader finance and administration management, including office management, HR, finance, IT, and logistics;
- Able to communicate effectively and excellent interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships at all levels;
- High level of computer literacy (proficiency in MS Excel would be added advantage);
- Excellent financial and analytical skills;
- Proven problem identification and resolution experience with budgeting, forecasting, banking, tax authorities, foreign currency transactions, and other related issues;
- Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive issues and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English - excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil.

**Conditions of employment**:

- Dedication: 40 hours per week;
- CLT contract;
- Remuneration: competitive compared to market values
