**Location**:While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster's positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever.

You will be joining our newly formed and quickly growing People Services team and will be working with our country HRBP's to provide an amazing localized benefits program for our team members, customers and Oyster employees. You will cover the areas of Insurance, Allowances, Pensions and Perks. With your deep benefits expertise, you will make the complex, simple
**What you'll do**:
- Working with the local HRBP's across the Americas region, you are the go to person for complex benefits questions and issues.
- Provide frameworks and support for HRBP's to source, select and manage local benefits vendors as well as identify country specific benefit offerings.
- Monitor benefits utilization and effectiveness of benefits offering across the region and provide advice on improvements and adjustments that may be needed.
- Source, select and build further opportunities with multi-country benefits vendors.
- Negotiate with vendors to ensure that we can provide the optimal proposition for our customers, in terms of price, SLAs and conditions
- Manage vendor performance, leading regular calls to review blockers and improvement areas.
- Where required, manage vendor terminations and re-negotiations.
- Assist our Benefits Administrators when they need expert advice to implement changes and solve problems.
- Attend calls with our sales team to assist customers with benefits questions.
- Take on area of Subject Matter Expertise in the team globally (e.g. Pension).
- Contribute to global benefits projects.
**What we're looking for**:
- 6+ years benefits experience
- You have supported at least 1 North American + 1 LATAM country
- You have detailed knowledge and experience across employee insurance (e.g. health), allowances, perks and pensions.
- You are a clear communicator who can simply explain complex topics
- You have the ability to crunch data and translate numerical analysis into pragmatic recommendations
- You have owned the process and outcome of a benefits RFP for more than one country.
- You have built successful working relationships with vendors and can demonstrate you can hold vendors accountable for agreed service delivery.
- You have strong negotiation skills and can coach others on how to negotiate with benefits vendors successfully.
- You are Customer, Team Member and Employee focused in everything you do
