**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**
Do you want to shape SAP’s future in Cloud Business Software at its heart? Are you enthusiastic about driving the success of our Next Generation ERP in the Cloud? Our first S/4HANA Cloud Editions are already out in the market for a while. The S/4HANA Cloud Operations department - as part of the S/4HANA Product Delivery group under SAP Product Engineering - is responsible for the complete life cycle management (planning, production, and operations) of SAP’s S/4HANA Cloud & Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Software.
The S/4HANA Cloud Operations department drives and executes all required activities based on an end-to-end approach and facilitates all functions from development engagement to design, production, and service of our productive customer landscapes.
We are looking to fill the position of the Development Manager for the S/4HANA Cloud Operations Team in Brazil. The department is responsible for all operational tasks (OS, DB, SAP Basis, etc.) needed to operate productive customer landscapes.
Bangalore is the largest location for the S/4HANA Cloud Operations team and is expected to grow over the next years.

- Responsible for building a high-performance team i.e. ensuring motivation and engagement of the employees and performing change management activities.
- Focus on facilitating the performance of the team, setting goals and direction and issue resolution and escalation. Manages resources to ensure business critical and innovative results. Target setting/MBO definition & achievement evaluation. Management of employees according to their performance level.
- We also expect a sound technical understanding of the S/4HANA Architecture or general experience in operating SAP systems.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent university education
- Strong experience in Development or Operations
- Good knowledge of SAP products and related landscape architecture
- Advanced in English (oral and written)

- Proven track record in cross organization projects
- Innovative thinker with business acumen
- Identify, understand and define needs of the development organizations regarding development infrastructure as well as understanding the needs of current and future SAP customers
- Good knowledge in ITIL processes
- Deep understanding of the S/4HANA Cloud or On-premise solution stack
- Infrastructure related knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with Cloud products is an advantage
