**Position Overview**As Country Manager, Brazil, you will play an integral role in developing and implementing Invenergy’s Brazil strategy and business including operational services for utility-scale wind, solar, and storage energy projects. You will report to the company’s Director, Asset Management, International Third-Party Services, and may be based in Sao Paolo or the company’s Natal office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and grow the company’s operational and maintenance services, asset management, major corrective repairs, and other field service activities in Brazil.
- Drive the communication of information and coordination of activities between functional groups including operations, engineering, safety, human resources, tax, accounting, business development, legal, regulatory and government affairs, global financial operations, and finance.
- Establish and manage organizational goals and objectives in line with the company’s overall goals and business plans for Brazil.
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports and across functional teams to attract new business, close complex negotiations and create solutions to project specific problems and challenges.
- Liaise with government entities, local partners, and others to support messaging of the company’s positions and interests.
- Lead teams in the development of project budgets and office budget.
- Concisely and promptly report relevant information to stakeholders including the company’s senior management and investment partners.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in energy/utilities sector with significant experience managing the operations and maintenance of wind, solar, and storage energy projects.
- Exceptional leadership, communications, and influencing skills.
- Experience building, managing and mentoring high performing teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties.
- Ability to travel in Brazil up to 50% and periodically to the company headquarters in Chicago, IL.
