Quality Manager

Requisition ID: 26410- Job Location(s): Guaratingueta, BRDanfoss is looking for a new colleague with a technical background who is passionate and motivated towards delivering best quality and continual improvement. You will be responsible for establishing and implementing Quality processes such as: Lead and support that the QMS processes is executed in accordance with QMS processes including conducting of audits where applicable. Lead quality improvements in production to ensure stable output and reduce scrap and rework, customer support and technical support in quality issues, manufacturing process development participation and its approval, assure that all records and inspections are performed according to the quality system requirements, lead and manage the metallurgic and chemical laboratory, support customer audits and third party audits, quality metrics management, corrective actions, CoPQ reduction planning, plan and develop ways to improve the internal quality in order to reduce scrap and avoid customer complaints, perform 8D reports for internal and external customers and assure their effectiveness. Assist OEM/AM customers, being responsible to apply, develop, implement and improve processes to support Field Services activities. Evaluate and disposition about OEM warranty claim

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Achieve Scrap, CoPQ, ZMPD and Customer PPM targets through variation reduction in the manufacturing process.

Develop and maintain Organizational Capability in Quality Engineering and Improve the Customer Satisfaction.

Assure Quality Management System accomplishment and quality controls and records though product and process audits, QSB (Quality System Basic) implementation.

Coordinate product fail analysis, corrective actions and feedback to customers through specific reports.

Manage Metallurgical and Chemical Laboratory inspections and approvals through internal procedures/systematically, and in accordance with IATF standards and global policies.

Responsible for approval the manufacturing process trough instructions and procedures that are performed by Quality Auditor and Laboratory Metallurgic and chemical technician.

**Background & Skills**:

- Engineering Bachelors Degree (or similar) is required;
- Advanced/ Fluent English;
- GreenBelt certified;
- Product and Manufacturing Knowledge is required;
- Strong leadership;
- Capacity to work under pressure;
- Managerial courage and intellectual rigor;
- Significant knowledge on quality systems (EQS, ISO/TS 16949);
- Significant knowledge on quality tools such as CEP, FMEA, 8D, PPAP, ELSS, APQP and engine valves.
