About the role
Amazon is looking for a strong leader with excellent communication skills, payroll regulations knowledge, a passion towards automations and continuous improvement culture, a track record in diverse payroll transitions and ability to create a strong regional network across finance, tax and human resource organizations. Key job responsibilities
Your Responsibilities:

- Hire, develop and lead payroll operations teams of ~15-30 payroll coordinators & team managers based in Costa Rica & Brazil.
- Contribute to the strategic direction & organization development of LATAM Payroll services
- Lead regional payroll initiatives such as Payroll Talent Programs, Quality Assurance, etc.
- Partner with stakeholders in HR, Pay Services, Stock, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, Benefits, Time & Attendance Teams, Onboarding.
- Ignite a culture of continuous improvements/ RPA/ Automations that surpass our client’s expectations
- Lead Payroll Services for Amazon associates located in Brazil, guided by annual key performance metrics linked to quality, customer satisfaction & compliance goals.
- Project Management Certifications
- Experience in additional LATAM or Global Payroll countries
- Experience working with SOX compliance
- Knowledge in Payroll Accounting
