**THE ROLE**
The BSG Retail role will work with the sales teams and provide Consultancy and Solution support around Temenos products, including presentations and demonstrations, with a primary focus to win qualified business for Temenos.
**OPPORTUNITIES**
- You will be able to undertake Solution Consultancy activities with prospects to understand the Technology needs and drivers for change, and position TEMENOS’ solutions and Technology differentiators.
- You will collaborate with the sales team to promote TEMENOS products and services through presentations of Temenos technology and architecture to win qualified deals.
- You will provide quick and accurate responses to the technical queries of RFI/RFP’s, and facilitate all technology inquiries from clients, distributors, and partners.
- You will design solutions blueprints
- You will design and configure screens, inquiries, reports, workflows, code, document and maintain scripts for workshops and Proof of Concepts
- You will participate in customer calls and events as necessary to promote TEMENOS products and services through presentations of Temenos technology and architecture to prospects.
- You will engage in the Pre-Sales phase by introducing technical aspects of TEMENOS product/services offering, and providing product demonstrations - functionality, technical requirements, etc. - by interfacing with prospective and current clients, distributors, and partners and recommending system solutions that ensure the optimum usage and utilization of TEMENOS products and services.
- You will serve as the contact point for all customer and prospective clients’ Technology queries as well as internal partner groups (i.e., Product, Model Bank team, etc.)
- You will provide excellent knowledge and deep familiarity with retail banking solutions.
- You will perform such other duties, functions, and services, consistent with status or vocational ability, as may from time to time be required by management.
- You will work with other technical teams within Temenos to keep the knowledge updated.
- You will mentor and train junior team members in Temenos technology
- You will have active involvement in Post sales activities like SOW (Statement of work) preparation, knowledge handover to services teams, upgrade opportunity discussions etc.
**SKILLS**
- You should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.
- You should have knowledge of Retail Banking, specializing in Retail Deposits and/or Retail Loans.
- You should have familiarity with Retail Banking products lifecycles, transactions & accounting of transactions.
- You should have the ability to look beyond the systems and understand the underlying Client requirements
- You should have experience in handling functional consultancy would be an added advantage.
- You should have experience in the Retail Banking industry - either directly in a Bank or via a Core Banking solution provider
- You should be capable of performing tasks independently and results-oriented.
- You should have familiarity with SaaS services and Cloud technologies
- You should have familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, etc.
- You should have general knowledge on Integration technologies (ie REST APIs, Web services, middleware, ESB, etc)
- You should have general knowledge of the software development life cycle, DevOps, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- You should have excellent communication and presentation skills
- You should have proactive and highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- You should have a can-do entrepreneurial spirit and an on-the-job learning mentality
- You should have experience in a front-end client-facing role is a must
- You should have availability to travel on a frequent basis
