The **GM of Brazil** is accountable for driving sales and profitability through development and execution of strategic growth and process improvement plans in a dynamic environment. They will have direct revenue responsibility for approximately USD $80M. Working in close partnership with the **Videojet LATAM **(Latin-America) team and other subsidiaries, they will provide leadership, structure, and rigor to ensure that Videojet has the people, plans, and systems in place to increase revenue growth in the Brazilian market.
In this role, the GM of Brazil will lead their team in the development and execution of a transformative business strategy that leverages our strong business and technology foundation. They will also be responsible for developing and executing channel and customer plans that will aggressively grow sales, service, customer-installed base, and market share using allotted resources. Their primary focus will be on leading their group and achieving sales and operating profit objectives, while providing timely, accurate sales and financial forecasting. It will be important for them to maintain familiarity with the industry through robust industry relationships to gain an authoritative understanding of sales and marketing opportunities. Moving quickly to build trusted relationships with customers and key account opportunities will be essential.
To accomplish these goals, it will be critical for the GM of Brazil to build a best-in-class team that leverages the Veralto Enterprise System and is powered by Diversity and Inclusion. This includes identifying opportunities to “raise the bar” for individuals and the team by instilling their value-selling vision, implementation of clear winning metrics and performance scorecard. They will be equipped and prepared to provide deeper insights and best practices to complement their direct reports. In addition, GM of Brazil will make a personal investment in fostering internal relationships to nurture a culture based on respect, teamwork, communication, and results.
**Commercial Growth**
- Define commercial strategy with clear view of impact for recurring and non-recurring.
- Increasing sales revenue through new customer acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling/expanding to existing customers
- Develop and monitor performance against forecasts and plans, to ensure the achievement of results through execution of growth tools and standard work.
- Maintain a deep understanding of local competition tactics and behavior. Inform VJ competitive global intelligence and develop local tactics and countermeasures to sustain, compliant market share improvement by staying ahead of competitors.
- Ensure the success of new product launches by overseeing the development and implementation of impactful product launch plans.
- Create sustainable capability within the commercial organization by identifying improvement opportunities and leading kaizen activities.
- Focus on building long-term relationships with customers, which includes improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Leverage data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, sales performance, and market trends to inform local strategic decisions.
- Build partnerships with Channel Partners to expand reach and access new customer bases.
**Strategic Direction**
- Identify opportunities to accelerate growth via enhanced market visibility, to enter new markets segments or industries.
- Build relationships & represent Videojet with large Strategic customers / Govt bodies / Industry forums / Regulators.
- Collaborate with global product management to drive the development of new products based on market-validated needs.
**P&L**
- Meet or exceed all CVD targets including growth, operating margin expansion, quality, delivery, cost, associate retention, internal fill rate, working capital and return on invested capital.
- Lead the development of and manage the annual operating plan and forecasts Operating within all budgets including achieving regional P&L.
**People and Culture**
- Lead organization and talent initiatives to build and develop a world class diverse and engaged workforce with strong leadership and succession capabilities; Create a team culture of fun and high energy where team members can do their best work.
- Lead the hiring of talent ahead of the curve and develop top talent who can contribute to growth in Brazil.
- Investing in training and development programs, including VES growth tools e.g. Value Selling, Funnel Management etc.) to improve the skills and effectiveness of the sales team.
- Attract, engage & retain high quality talent through various talent initiatives, high-impact development interventions.
- Build a more inclusive Videojet in Brazil in partnership with Videojet LATAM (Latin-American), plus Global PQI and HGM teams.
