Overview:
Waters is seeking a dynamic General Manager for the Brazil Subsidiary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Achievement of Sales & Service groups annual budget including revenue and margin targets.
- Plan and manage business portfolio/territory according to an agreed market development strategy.
- Plan and prioritize personnel sales activities and customer/prospect contacts towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales, especially managing personnel time and productivity.
- Sales and Service organization planning and development.
- Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed terms.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Plan, carry out, support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, ex. Product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Review financial, sales, service and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement.
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- Have a proactive participation with the America’s policies and strategies.
- Coordinate and support initiatives with sales and service team
- Submit required Internal and/or External reports.
- Maintain flow of communication with America Operations.
- Participate in annual budgeting process.
- Provide regular and accurate forecasts to the Americas leadership team
- Participate in business review meetings to identify opportunities, document the plans and help in the implementation.
- Work closely with the Finance team to proactivley improve business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Build a high performance organization, by leading by an example, bringing, retaining and developing the best talent.
- Be a role model in Waters behaviors: Authentic, Enterprise minded, Outside In Thinker, Agile and People Focused.

Qualifications:

- Degree BS/Master/PHD in scientific areas such as chemistry, biology, biochem.
- 5 to 8 Years commercial experience and leading teams
- Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS
- Ability to manage the administration, sales and service business.
- Good communication skills are required to work effectively with all groups within Waters.
- Be capable of working under pressure against tight deadlines.
- A good understanding of budgets, pricing and margins.
- People Management skills are essential.
- Portruguese / English proficient. Spanish is preferred.
- Business skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Sound knowledge in handling computer and software.
- Ability to read and understand different documents of business records and statistical reports of the company
