**Responsibilities and Impact**:
A key role in the Latin America Commercial Sales Team focused on growing our partnerships with our Upstream and Downstream clients located in the Brazil and Caribbean area.
Build and nurture relationships with S&P Commodity Insights customers to provide solutions that improve our customer operations and insights.
Working as the lead on your set accounts you will work with your colleagues as part of a team building an account strategy that results in high retention and growth of our business.
Multi-faceted position, dealing with all stages of the sales and renewal process. The role is critical to the entire customer journey and will be working with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
Contribute to the business strategy through a deep understanding of industry requirements, market trends, and client requirements.
**What We’re Looking For**:Basic Required Qualifications**:
Degree with 7+ years of successful sales experience managing major or complex accounts in Brazil and Latin America upstream industry/energy markets.
Consultative sales and negotiation skills experience, possess high integrity and is proficient in all phases of the selling cycle from need creation, proposal preparation, and negotiation to deal closure.
Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills that add value to the relationship by distilling, summarizing, interpreting, and communicating information to facilitate its usefulness.
Strong planning, pipeline management, organization skills and ability to prioritize.
Travel is required.
**Additional Preferred Qualifications**:
Degree with 7+ years of successful sales experience managing major or complex accounts in the Brazil and Latin America energy markets.
Proven leadership in managing multi-national global and/or strategic accounts, multi-cultural awareness, and regional experience is preferred.
Understanding of Latin America energy markets - Oil & Gas, Power, Agriculture, Metals, Renewable
Experience working with the major energy companies mainly in Brazil and Caribbean area.
Strong planning and organization skills Salesforce/ Equivalent CRM, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint
