About the role

Tietoevry—a leading digital services and software company—is looking for a Service Operation Manager to collaborate with a global technology leader in the telecommunications sector. You will join a DevOps team responsible for development, operations, and deployment automation for complex infrastructures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage service operations, ensuring efficiency and stability of processes
- Facilitate and drive technical discussions, making complex topics accessible to various stakeholders
- Guide the team in making key technical decisions
- Ensure security best practices are followed in service management
- Oversee requirements engineering related to networks and security
- Utilize cloud technologies to enhance service delivery
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., CheckMK) and observability tools
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based solutions
- Maintain a customer-focused approach aligned with team capabilities
- Deliver clear and effective presentations in English

**Requirements**:

- Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies for project management and work prioritization
- Strong ability to engage in technical discussions and connect with team members and partners at different levels
- Understanding of cloud technologies, security principles, and monitoring solutions
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
