**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

You will work on projects that span products, technologies, systems, and processes where you will design, test, and ship great code that tens of millions of people around the world rely on to get work done. In this cross functional role, you will collaborate with experts in product, design, and infrastructure to build the future of Expense management at Concur.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work effectively with Technical Product Managers to understand and deliver on the priorities
- Build high performing teams by attracting, hiring, retaining and coaching top talent.
- Grow team and guide the career development of team members, including both technical and interpersonal skills necessary for being effective and successful in a professional -software engineering organization.
- Provide systematic and direct individual performance feedback focused on recognition of achievement and opportunities for growth.
- Deliver the solution that is highly scalable and can perform under huge loads.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor's/Master’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
- Programming languages: Have proficiency with Javascript or other object oriented programming languages. Understand containerization technologies like Docker or K8S.
- Have a solid grounding in Agile Development, i.e. Scrum, Continuous Integration and DevOps concepts (automated deployments, monitoring/alerting, etc.).
- Be a team player be highly collaborative, i.e. an effective communicator willing to promote ideas but able to listen to/work with others.
- Have a result driven personality, high enthusiasm, energy, confidence and most importantly have a sense of humor.
- As a Leader: Take ownership for results, have a bias for action, insist on the highest standards, and deliver results. But balance all of that with creating/developing/retaining a great team.
