**Your Role and Responsibilities**

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

Required Technical Experdise
- Solid understanding of the client-server network communication and protocols
- Deeply understand relational database architecture
- Skills in the following database products and technologies:

- IBM DB2 (Linux, Unix and Windows) Enterprise and Connect versions.
- IBM DB2 for SAP
- IBM DB2 integrated with High Availability Solutions (HACMP, HADR, TSAMP, Disk Tiebreak using HADR with TSA)
- IBM DB2 maintenance strategies (Reorganization, Collect Statistics, Rebind, Purge Data, Migration, Compression)
- IBM DB2 Data Warehouse
- SQL Replication (Dprop, Infosphere CDC and QReplication)
- Be familiar with Unix and Windows Server interface and administrative tasks (services, processes, daemons, filesystems, networking)
- Multiple cloud service providers (AWS, Google Gloud, Azure, IBM Cloud)
- Systems performance analysis and troubleshooting

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**

Basic or Intermediate English
- Previous experience with DB2 LUW Database administration
- Scripting languages (PowerShell, Shell Script, Python)
