**Your Role and Responsibilities**

System Database Administrator (Oracle) with Kyndryl, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data.

This position is responsible for the support and administration of the client's database environment (Oracle DB).

The administrator will participate in and/or lead efforts to build, upgrade, migrate and update these servers. The administrator will be part of an Agile multi skilled squad, composed of professionals spread across different locations.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

Required Technical Expertise:

- Execution of backup and restore (RMAN / BRBACKUP)
- Install and Upgrade Oracle Single/RAC
- Dataguard
- Patching (Application of Oracle and Oracle SAP patches)
- Troubleshooting in critical environments
- Opening of tickets / SR (Oracle)
- Performance and Tunning (AWR / ADDM / ASH / ADVISORS)
- GRID (ASM)
- Change planning and execution
- Oracle RAC
- On Premise
- Cloud, MongoDB, MySQL, OpenEdge ProgressR
- Experience in AIX, LINUX, WINDOWS operating systems environments.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**

English (Advanced or Fluent)

Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Python, VBScript, Shell Script)
- Analysis and Optimization of environment performance (capacity and performance)
- Develop and implement monitoring of the environment (continuous monitoring)
- Implement automatic incident resolution automations (auto-healing)
- Attendance to highly complex and critical incidents and requests
- Planning and execution of technical windows of high complexity and/or impact
- Propose/implement improvement solutions for managed environments
- Creation of runbooks and environment documentation
- Participate in solution definitions/technical consulting in problem solving
