**Why The Job Exists**

**What The Job Covers**
- Client relationship management for assigned projects;
- Oversight and quality control of deliverables;
- Ensuring projects are run within client budgets and in accordance with internal profit targets;
- Internal project reporting and communications

**Reporting and Communication Structure**
- The Account Executive reports into the Senior Account Manager (SAM). Performance and progression are reviewed together with the SAM.
- The SAM reviews work before delivering to client. The SAM is accountable for the individual client relationships so should be kept informed at all times.
- Overall account issues or concerns should be escalated to the AD, who reports into the Head of Client Services (HCS), or the HCS, who then in turn reports into the UK Deputy MD.

**Responsibilities**
- Day to day client communications and relationship building, where relevant as the identified client point of contact.
- Supporting the client services team in building proposals and client presentations.
- Supporting the client services team in building reports and end-of-campaign presentations.
- Supporting with briefing colleagues and freelancers on their deliverables, and the associated management of them.
- Coordinating with and booking suppliers and freelancers to ensure project success.
- Support with additional delivery needs such as image sourcing or research.
- Timeline creation and maintenance, where relevant, alongside the PM and SAM.
- Budget tracker creation and reconciliation, where relevant, alongside the PM and SAM.
- Uploading article content to client website and maintaining their website content, where relevant.
- Staying on top of industry news relevant to GPC’s and our clients’ businesses.
- Supporting the Client Services team in delivering value-add reports and workshops to our clients, on top of our core project deliverables.

**Business Development and Commercial Performance**
- Individual client and project targets are set as part of the wider team and business targets. The Account Executive should be proactive with ideas that could help the business upsell, develop work or move into new areas of work in order to meet these targets.
- The Account Executive should help ensure that work is progressed at a good pace and to a high quality, and keep the clients updated on this progress, so that scopes can be closed to a high standard and new scopes raised.

**Financial**
- The AE needs day-to-day awareness of how a project is tracking financially. They should be in continual communication with the Project Manager and the Senior Account Manager to get this information. This is so that client and internal stakeholder questions can be answered, and any budget tracking risks can be flagged internally.
- Report back to the SAM and AD on the financial health of a project or account, where relevant alongside the PM.
- Stay up to date on the finance team’s internal project tracking process and adhere to this, with relevant updates provided as needed.

By the Senior Account Manager on the basis of:

- Development of client relationships;
- Overall quality and accuracy and quality of work produced;
- Pro-activity in supporting the CS team and eagerness to learn;
- Working well within the wider GPC team;
- Interpersonal/communication skills;
- Being a team player;
- Demonstrating the core values of Green Park Content.
