**About us**:
St. Paul’s was founded in 1926 and was the first school in South America to receive accreditation from the UK government as a British School Oversees. **Key Responsabilities**:

- Plan and deliver music lessons to Prep School students in accordance with the English National Curriculum.

- Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Arts Department and Junior School to support cross-curricular initiatives and whole-school events.

- Lead and develop choirs and ensembles, preparing students for performances and school productions.

- Support and contribute to musical productions, concerts, and other performance opportunities throughout the academic year.

- Assess and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.

- Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and professional development activities.

**Safeguarding**

**Essential Qualifications & Experience**:

- A degree in Music or a closely related field.

- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g. either a PGCE from the UK or Pedagogia or Licenciatura from a Brazilian university).

- Proven experience teaching music, ideally within a British or international school setting.

- The ability to work collaboratively.

**Desirable Attributes**:

- Experience working in an international school environment.

- Demonstrated success in leading choirs and musical productions.

- The ability to provide piano accompaniment for rehearsals, assemblies, and performances as needed.

- A collaborative and flexible approach to teaching and departmental work.

- Commitment to fostering creativity, confidence, and musical excellence in young learners.
