As part of our Americas region, we are looking for a Business Development Representative based in Rio de Janeiro to support our growth in Brazil. You will work closely with the Business Development, Marketing Services and Operations teams regionally, thereby gaining invaluable experience.
**What You'll Do**:
- Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
- Research potential clients and competitive landscape
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote FUGA’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
- Collaborate with leadership and Business Affairs to ensure contracts are drafted and executed as agreed
- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
- Track and report on the status of proposal components
- Maintain strong knowledge base of the local industry and consumer trends
- Prepare and submit sales contracts
- Attend conferences, meetings and industry events
- Manage sales process from outreach, to demo, to signature
- Perform demos and training of our products and services
- Assist in on-boarding of your own signed clients
**Who You Are**:
- Previous experience in digital music distribution
- Proven sales track record and working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or similar function
- Strong market knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport easily
- Time management, planning skills and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to flourish with mínimal guidance, be proactive and handle uncertainty
- Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-changing environment and team
- Able to work with a Global team
