Legal Counsel

**BRAZILIAN LEGAL COUNSEL**
- Do you like working in a fast paced environment - and would you like to assist in developing Better Collective's corporate legal practice in Brazil? If yes, then you might be our new colleague as our new Brazilian Legal Counsel.**About the role**
- As our Brazilian Legal Counsel, you will be part of a talented, skilled and very ambitious Corporate Legal team - and our first addition in South America. You will provide legal guidance to a variety of internal stakeholders and help set up our legal processes for Brazil and the rest of South America. You will balance commercial and contractual goals with legal and risk factors and work most closely with commercial law, advertising regulations, and gambling law._

**Your main responsib**ilities are to**
- Draft, manage and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts with suppliers, partners, and customers in Brazilian Portuguese and English - and potentially Spanish
- Maintain a good understanding of contract templates, contract policy, legal risk and liability, and company position on various matters.
- Develop / maintain the company’s Portuguese contract templates.
- Assist with the implementation of legal initiatives and projects.
- Undertake ad hoc administrative tasks in relation to contract management as necessary.
- Provide support to the business on other legal matters on an as-needed basis, in particular in relation to commercial contracts.

**Our expectations to you**
- 3-5 years of experience from a law firm and / or in-house with e.g. IT or media/marketing company
- Fluency in Portuguese and English with impeccable writing skills - fluency in Spanish will be a great asset
- Experience in commercial and/or corporate law
- Vast experience in drafting international contracts in English
- Strong contract management skills
- Used to working at both strategic and operational level with a high degree of commercial understanding, as required
