- Fellow must be a recent university graduate
**JOB OBJECTIVE**:
- Support pediatricians and multi-professional teams to identify pediatric rare and ultra-rare diseases through medical education programs
- Support the strategy to raise awareness on DMD and ADDC deficiency
- Participate in the medical affairs routine including team general meetings and internal trainings improving his/her experience and knowledge in medical affairs area
- Continuous learning in the rare and ultrarare diseases and deepening the knowledge in the neuro pediatric’ diseases (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - DMD and ADDC deficiency)
- Stablish partnership with medical societies and reference centers in order to lead medical education on pediatric rare diseases
**TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
- Attending meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
- Observing and learning from experienced staff members.
- Gaining knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes.
- Taking detailed notes and liaising with Managers, Supervisors, and other senior staff.
- Fulfilling any requirements and meeting goals set out at the start of the Internship.
- Following all company regulations, and health and safety codes.
- Preparing documents and updating records.
- Contact and build relationship with rare disease excellence centers in order to raise awareness on pediatric rare diseases (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and ADDC deficiency) through medical education
- Search for opportunities of partnership with medical societies to promote pediatric rare diseases
- Lead presentations on pediatric rare diseases (DMD and ADDCd) to heath care professionals
- Contact hospitals, clinics, excellence centers or rehabilitation centers to educate health care professionals on pediatric rare diseases
- Work cross functionally in order to implement medical education programs
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Fellow must be a recent university graduate
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Nursing
- Advanced English level (reading, writing and speaking)
- Experience on papers and scientific articles reading / interpretation
- Interested in contributing with rare disease patients
- Experience on pharmaceutical companies is a differential
- Available to travel
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Superb attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Strong leadership skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A pro-active, organized, strategical, team player and communicative person is desired.
