Finance Analyst, Youtube Strategic Insights

**Minimum qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related function in data analysis. - Experience with SQL, R+, Python, Looker Studio, or other data analysis and visualization tools. - Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders. **Preferred qualifications**: - Experience in analytics and spreadsheet software. - Experience in developing strategies in fast-paced environments for resource allocation decisions to achieve desired business outcome. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with a wide variety of departments. **About the job**: Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges. With your analytics and financial acuity, you'll liaise between the Finance team with the functional areas it supports. You resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, resource prioritization and business profitability, and you help translate analyses into easy-to-understand presentations. The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business. **Responsibilities**: - Evaluate business performance by creating KPIs, Frameworks, and Dashboards. - Maintain and develop infrastructure to enable the assessment of insights (e.g., workflows, tables). - Identify opportunities and risks to the ads business and communicate them to leadership/business partners. - Influence strategies and activation plans through data driven insights and product/industry knowledge. - Collaborate with other Finance teams (e.g., Product Finance, GCS) and across functions (e.g., Product Specialists, Sales, Go-To-Market, Partnership, Marketing) to evaluate opportunities/risks.
