Field Service and Customer Care Manager

Primary Responsibilities
Plans, directs and coordinates the daily activities of service personnel to achieve service and business objectives
Communicates with other department managers to identify potential improvements in the quality of services and/or support provided
Ability to defuse challenging internal and external customer/employee situations
Identifies service, technical and workflow skill sets assessment and mentoring to their direct reports
Develops and tracks performance objectives for all direct reports and effectively addresses and resolves employee issues
Demonstrates effective communication skills, either through team interactions or presentations to clearly articulate business objectives strategies
Effectively strategizes and drives regional business objectives
Responsible for working with the Latin America service and commercial team to meet region revenue targets
Responsible for gaining business advantage through superior service delivery in all of Latin America East.
Manages company assets including inventory and tools.
Establishes a regular cadence of activity reports for the purposes of driving business and proficiency improvements.
Responsible to meet/drive all compliance objectives
Working knowledge of life science products and workflows.
Communicates regularly with sales colleagues to drive business objectives

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience
Prior experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or related scientific instruments
Leadership experience managing a project, group and/or teams

**Additional Requirements**:
Expert communication skills both written and verbal
Ability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs
Requires ability to walk, climb, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, and bend at waist.
Exposed to seasonal weather based on geographic region
Exposed to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols
Willing to travel in the assigned territory and international
Good technical English level.
