**Merchant Data Analytics**

Adyen is looking for a passionate and skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Sao Paulo, and contribute to our mission of turning data into value for our strategic merchants. As a Merchant Data Analyst, you will have a vital role in partnering with our strategic merchants to run experimentations and provide actionable insights, enhancing our overall payment offering. Your expertise in data analysis and problem-solving will be instrumental in optimizing our merchants' payment processes and driving impactful results.

**What you'll do**
- **Data Analysis and Insights**: Analyze transactional and operational data to unlock actionable insights and improvement opportunities. Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize merchant performance, increase efficiency, and to bring product enhancement.
- **Experimentation**: Participate in experimentation initiatives to test and validate hypotheses for optimizing payment processes. Design and execute experiments, analyze results, and draw data-driven conclusions. Work collaboratively with teams and peers to influence the implementation of scalable solutions based on experimentation outcomes, benefiting all merchants. Share insights and learnings to drive innovation.
- **Problem Solving and Impact-driven**: Proactively identify merchant improvement opportunities through data analysis. Develop data models and perform statistical analysis to support impactful business decisions. You'll be driving new initiatives to help Adyen grow 10x.
- **Stakeholder Management and Communication**: Collaborate with Account Managers, Product teams, and other Merchant Data Analysts to align on data strategy and priorities. Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide data insights, and address inquiries. Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress clearly and concisely.

**Who you are**
- You have strong English communication (verbal & written)
- You are able to make brilliant storytelling with Data: Ability to communicate complex insights effectively to drive decision making
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills, with proficiency in tools such as R, Python, and SQL
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- You're a great communicator and feel comfortable talking to stakeholders
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment where you must prioritize and continuously evaluate how to maximize your impact
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of business concepts and a keen interest in going deep into the merchant's business landscape
- Able to interface seamlessly with a global, multicultural team (excellent collaboration skills, culturally aware, both internally and with customers.) and enthusiastic and open to meet with the teams globally
- Experience in FinTech or Payments is a plus

**Good to know**
- This role is based out of our Sao Paulo office and we offer relocation if is need.
- We have a hybrid work arrangement, meaning at least three days per week from the office.
- This is a full-time position.
