In this role you’ll make an impact by:

- Overseeing and managing a **multiple industries (Bioenergy, Household Care, Industrial)**, team lab and admin staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
- Ensuring the efficient operation of the laboratory, including scheduling, resource allocation, maintenance of equipment, and **providing input to and managing budget.**:

- **Interacting with customers**to understand their technical needs, providing support and guidance, addressing inquiries, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- **Planning and coordinating technical service projects**, managing timelines, resources, and budgets, and ensuring the timely delivery of services to meet client requirements.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the laboratory team, staying updated on advancements in technology and methodologies, and facilitating knowledge transfer within the organization.
- Identifying opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and innovation within the laboratory, driving initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
- **Ensuring adherence to relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practices,**as well as maintaining documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Facilitating effective communication within the laboratory team, as well as with cross-functional departments, external partners, and stakeholders, to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Developing **long-term strategies for the technical service lab**, aligning with organizational and regional industries goals, and contributing to the overall business growth and success.

Potentially relevant experience:

- Expertise in relevant scientific and technical fields, such as chemistry, biology, or engineering, along with +5 years experience in laboratory or industrial environments.
- Leadership skills, including experience in supervising and managing a technical teams, overseeing project timelines, and coordinating activities within a laboratory setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and management, to address technical inquiries, provide support, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Experience in planning and executing technical service projects, managing resources and budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of services to meet client needs.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practices for laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
- Fluence in Portuguese and English
