**Job Summary**:
Artificial Intelligence has become increasingly involved in Governmental operations, enhancing efficiency, improving decision-making, and optimizing security. Utilization of AI technologies within government operations has the potential to revolutionize processes, sharpen resource allocation, and improve citizen services. This symbiotic relationship is multifaceted, encompassing areas such as data analysis, predictive modeling, cybersecurity, and policy formulation.
- Strategic planning: using data analysis and predictive modeling to extract valuable insights, trends, and patterns that inform decision-making, identify risks, and optimize processes
- Cybersecurity: detecting anomalies and vulnerabilities, predicting and preventing attacks, responding swiftly to security breaches and safeguarding sensitive information
- Policy Formulation: leveraging AI to assess the impact of policies, simulate various scenarios, and evaluate potential outcomes with greater accuracy and efficiency

**Responsibilities**:
As a Senior Fellow, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Work with business leaders to identify problems that can be resolved using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
- Actively participate in pre-sales activities to demonstrate our capabilities and relevant use cases and understand client’s needs and problems
- Participate in the Discovery phase of a project to uncover real needs and possibilities, specify in detail the scope of the project, and use domain expertise to propose architecture for solutions
- Provide accurate time and resource estimates for a project and define the major milestones
- Identify potential risks and challenges on a project and how to overcome them
- Propose and participate in the selection of the team for a project
- Communicate and present to the client the progress of projects
- Ensure AI ethics and other SecOps principles are properly implemented on projects
- Contribute to the improvement of Xenon’s assessment and delivery process
- Contribute to developing Xenon’s domain capabilities, content, and competitiveness

**Requirements**:
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in AI roles or other relevant fields (AI, ML, Data Science)
- Very strong technical skills in technologies relevant to the field, and a deep understanding of underlying concepts and mechanisms (math, algorithms, models, statistics) needed for producing optimal and performant solutions
- Proved experience in scoping, designing, and architecting complex and large-scale solutions, estimating milestones, timeframes, and resources accurately
- Proved experience in leading projects and teams to a successful outcome
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence key stakeholders to make informed decisions
- Strong communication and presentation skills to be able to distill complex information and concepts into clear messages that resonate with clients of various technical backgrounds
- Curious, creative, outgoing personality with wide horizons committed to success and inspired by excellence

Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Artificial Intelligence domain (highly preferable)
- Background in Research activities and published papers
- Skills in writing domain-specific content e.g. whitepapers, blogs, etc.
