The Latin America Contractual Services Product Specialist will report to the LATAM Contractual Services ITO Director and will support Americas Gas Power Pole regarding CSA Strategy Development, External meetings/negotiations, Commercial positioning, Value proposition, Deal structuring advice, Terms & conditions positions and ultimately drive closure to CSA Opportunities (New CSAs, Renegotiations, Settlements, Concessions, New Unit CSA and CSA growth opportunities.). Additionally, working closely with the Sub-Pole ITR teams, the Product Specialist will contribute CSA commercial KPIs and CSA financial performance, including punch-list/pacing reviews and timely closure to assigned deals. The Product Specialist will be a key contributor for commercial actions related to de-risking the CSA portfolio and support the portfolio health teams on risk and mitigation on assigned deals.
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Execute on assigned opportunities to assure the Services ITR business wins profitable and productive CSA Backlog.
- Support Services ITR Account Managers to develop creative solutions and drive key initiatives that create CSA op profit and cash growth while mitigating risks to backlog
De-risk and defend the Gas Power Pole CSA portfolio through assigned opportunities.
- Support ITO process in cross-functional team including Sales, CommOps, Risk, OTR, Engineering, Finance, & Legal
- Assist Services ITR Account Managers with contract and amendment terms creation, and risk/reward analysis
- Own P5 risk identification and req’d approvals through Policy 5 process. Support P5 and MYA process rigor led by region sales.
- Own CSA financial analytics, P5 Deal Calculator configuration and support PS Sales with interpretation of financial metrics for assigned deals. Direct ITO Risk scenario analysis on assigned deals.
- Own proposal preparation and release and actively participate in and/or lead commercial and technical meetings and contract negotiations with customers. Responsible for contractual drafting with mínimal support from legal resources.
- Enforce order-booking requirements and drive an improved R3 turnover process to ensure proper control of contract flow-down requirements.
- Support Daily Mgmt., Punchlist reviews, Strategy review for the CSA Business Line for the Pole, as required
- Collaborate with PS and GPS sales teams and New Units MYA NU Sales team to drive new unit penetration and win profitable MYA backlog.
- Support ITR and Business Line Portfolio Health initiates such as risk quantification and mitigation strategy development.
- Collaborate with Services ITR Account and Leader to identify and develop growth opportunities
- Support the Business Line on best-practices and lessons learned with global PS region teams
- Support lang range planning and business line product strategy development.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sales and/or commercial functions in market economics, competitive issues, technology and projects, with five of those years in the power generation industry.
- Significant experience in CS commercial, sales, operations, and/or risk management
- Strategic mindset, Strong business acumen and presentation skills
- Proficient in tools to run financial scenarios and drive outcomes.
- Willingness and ability to travel, as needed, for customer and deal enablement.
