**What You'll Do**:
The People Generalist (PG) will specialize in small Criteo locations (employees less than 150 headcount). The People Generalist will have local and country-specific knowledge of Brazil and will have expertise to guide People Business Partners, Managers and Leaders to take people-related decisions that are in the interest of both Criteo and the team member in the context of the legal framework and compliance of Brazil. People Generalist will ensure that the values of Criteo are always carried through in any employee relations case while maintaining legal compliance. Responsibilities will also include maintaining employee life cycle and employment information, benefits administration, time and absence management, and any other payroll and people related topics. This role also supports some people-related functions for employees based in the US and Canada.
People Generalist will drive the following actions:
1. Policies, legal framework, contracts & compliance: the People Generalist owns and implements local policies and contract standards in line with the legal regulations of Brazil. As the local legal HR representative of Brazil, you will drive all compliance requirements and relationships with the Union. You will be actively involved with the annual dissidio, CIPA elections, collective agreement negotiations, profit-sharing, manage internship contracts and etc.
2. Employee Life Cycle: support all the onboarding, offboarding, job changes, compensation changes, benefits administration, time and absence management, medical examination and etc.
3. Employee Relations: the People Generalist ensures a consistent approach within their Location when managing performance issues, sanctions, investigations or termination cases. The People Generalist will partner with the PBP and the Manager in ER cases.
**Who You Are**:
- Relevant degree with HR qualification
- Experience in HR administration for Brazil (benefits, absences, payroll, etc.), with an excellent understanding of HR operations tools and key processes in a global and rapidly expanding company
- Strong experience in employee relations, with a proven track record of effective collaboration with Unions
- Excellent administrative and technical skills (HR Information Systems; Excel; PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with Workday and/or ServiceNow is a plus
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in both written & spoken English is required
- Great communication skills
- Passion for People
- Proven self-starter with the ability to work largely without direct supervision
- High attention to detail
